Dundee's Story . . . . .

On May 10, 2000, Dundee, our beautiful
Australian Shepherd, was bit by a rattlesnake.
The closest veterinary emergency hospital was
60 miles away.

For 23 days Dundee struggled to survive the
terrible effects of the rattlesnake venom and
the strain of traveling 60 miles  every day for
treatment.  On June 2, 2000 she succumbed to
renal failure as a result of the snakebite.

Devastated at the loss of our "Queen of the
Ranch" we wanted to bring to our community a
state-of-the-art facility for our pets  and
doctor(s) who would be able to provide
compassionate and  quality medical care for
all of our best friends.
In memory of Dundee 1993 - 2000
On November 11, 2002 Dundee Memorial Animal Care
Center opened its doors  to the community.

Our search began for "THE" veterinarian who exemplifies
our commitment to the community to provide competent,
compassionate care  for our four-legged friends.   The
doctor(s) we seek will be a committed  individual with a
desire to be a part of the community and have a desiret to
own their own practice.

Our vision is to focus on "Quality of Life" for pets and their
owners, focusing on preventive care, wellness and
longevity by promoting a partnership between doctor and
owners.

If you are a veterinarian or know of a veterinarian  with a
vision and a passion for promoting "Quality of Life" care
please contact us.

It is with great sadness that we said goodbye
to
"Lady Wylie", my constant companion and
"Gatekeeper" at Dundee.  Lady Wylie passed
away unexpectedly February 27th, 2008 but
she'll always be with us.
